Take It Outside

Take It Outside

Fall is such a great time of year; warm, beautiful days – the leaves are changing, the weather is so enjoyable and who doesn’t love football, pumpkins & extra hot latte’s. But, Fall can also mean chaos and inconsistency due the holidays lurking in the near future, Q4 craziness in corporate America and the end of the semester for students and teachers.

One thing I really enjoy doing in the Fall, which helps me stay somewhat compliant with my workout regimen, is to Take It Outside. I try not to overthink or overcomplicate my exercise routines, my goals are simple; move, get my heart rate up, break a good sweat, keep it simple and if nothing else, go for a 20-minute walk.

When you are traveling or short on time, try not to use excuses to not exercise but rather get creative and at least do something. Remember, something is better than nothing. So, grab your headphones, a friend, your spouse or your dog and Take It Outside!
